Our greenhouse and polytunnels are now full of summer flowers and vegetables which will go on sale to the public towards the end of next month. They are being well looked after by the people we support, who are helping to keep them in tiptop condition.

After all the rain we’ve had over the last few weeks, our volunteer team was able to crack on with some essential repairs and improvements at the farm this week, thanks to a dry, sunny spell. Maybe Spring really is on its way after all! The main task was to dig up an old gravel path and lay a new, paved one which will be easier to keep clean and safer for everybody who uses it.

After such a cold and wet start to 2026 now is the perfect time to bring some Springtime colour into your home and garden with our pots of Spring bulbs which are now on sale at the Acorn Centre. This year we’ve got 6 varieties for you to choose from, including 2 types of daffodils, 2 tulips and 2 anemones, all in colourful 2 litre pots.
