It was Open Week at the farm last week, with families of clients meeting up with friends and staff to see for themselves the improvements that have been made since last summer. And of course no Open Week would be complete without the clients receiving their coveted Growing Places certificates. Well done to everybody!

Although most of the flowers and vegetables we sell are grown by the local adults we support at our farm in Turgis Green, we sometimes manage to get our hands on other plants which are also sold to raise important funds for the charity. This month we've acquired a selection of stunning tropical plants, some of which are hardy enough to be planted outside, which will be on sale this week. Our pre-planted patio pots are now ready and will be on sale at the Acorn Centre from Monday 8th May. Each pot includes 7 different plants, all colour themed and well established, giving instant impact … and we’ve got mixed herb pots too! All pots cost just £16, or £15 each if you want 2 or more, so pop along to the Acorn Centre and choose your favourite.
